A SEMI palletizer is a machine that automatically palletize products onto a pallet, but where the change of the pallet is done manually.
This palletizer is designed for production lines with low capacity, but the machine is often prepared to be upgraded with equipment for pallet handling in future, so the change of pallet can be done automatically. A SEMI palletizer has most often the infeed of products in low level. The opening for the pallet is protected with a light barrier that ensures that the moving parts inside the machine cannot be reached during operation. When the pallet is completed, the machine stops, and the pallet can be changed.
